THE LEADER PROJECT:
Thriving in Christian Ministry.

Is it possible to thrive in ministry? I suggest it’s not only possible but critical. The Leader Project is devoted to equipping and encouraging Christian leaders to
endure, thrive and be fruitful in ministry.

In my experience,
leaders need
to take more time
just to...
BE.

Be. Abide. Live. Dwell. In John 15, Jesus gives his followers a picture of the Christian life... a vine. Jesus is the vine, the source of life, and His followers are the branches. When we are connected to Him, we are fruitful. When we are not connected to Jesus, we are not fruitful. Both BEING STILL, spending time in God's presence, and BEING LOVED, spending time meditating on and receiving the love of God, are not luxuries for the leader... they are vital to the leader's vitality. Please consider taking some time to BE STILL and BE LOVED so you have the strength and confidence to really BE YOU today!

Connect.
Christian Leadership is not a solo enterprise.

In Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12 and Ephesians 4 Paul uses the image of a body to explain how Christian community works. Christ is the head and His followers are the members, or parts, of the body. Each member of the body is given different gifts, according to the grace God gives us. Each member is honored. And all the members employ their unique gifts to care for one another and build the community up together. Here at THE LEADER PROJECT let's take a step toward connecting by conversing with one another in the blog. We will DISCUSS & DISCOVER together through reading the articles and commenting. Who knows? We might find opportunities to take the next step, collaboration, where  the members of the community offer their gifts to work together.

Leadership A to Z Blog

We are all in process, even leaders. Let's give ourselves space to explore, ask questions, learn and grow together as we look at the Bible, chew on some ideas and converse in the comments.
